The Pin and Ball, collectively entitled If Slater Bowled, first appeared in an exhibit entitled ZEROheroz as well as in an exhibit during the Culver City Artwalk. Since then it has begun showing up in a variety of locations around Manhattan Beach. The locations are selected to bring out humor, surprise or to draw attention to unique landmarks.
